The Parador Hotel has 129 rooms set in 12 acres of tropical forest and has an excellent location being close to Manuel Antonio Park and with a stunning clifftop location with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and the park.
Rooms: Standard rooms include the garden room type with two queen beds and terrace with direct access to garden and close to the pools, these are spacious, comfortable and ideal for families. Tropical rooms are on the first floor with balcony overlooking tree canopy. Higher up are ocean view rooms with balconies looking towards the Pacific Ocean and Bay View rooms looking across the bay. These have two queen beds and some have a king bed. There are 32 luxury suites in the Ocean Vista building which also has an adult only infinity pool and an ocean view restaurant. All rooms have air-conditioning, ceiling fans, cable TV, mini bar, coffee maker and safe.
Dining: There are several ocean view restaurants with indoor or open air terrace dining and serving international and local cuisine. Breakfast buffet is included in all room types.
Onsite: Onsite there is a spa and a gym, tennis court and three infinity swimming pools. There is a mile of trails onsite, and Playa Biesanz is a 10 minute walk or there are beach shuttles. Shuttles to Manuel Antonio Park also run daily.
Nearby Excursions: Guided tours of Manuel Antonio run daily and the park offers excellent wildlife and birdwatching opportunities as well as visiting the stunning beaches. Catamaran tours are available to sail around the shore from Manuel Antonio Park. Surfing lessons can also be arranged at the public beach at Manuel Antonio.
Our Comment: Parador Hotel is a great choice if you are looking to combine a visit to Manuel Antonio National Park with its excellent wildlife spotting opportunities and a few days relaxation at the beach or by the pool.
