El Silencio is a luxury eco-retreat that is set within a 500 acre private cloud forest reserve. Beautifully designed suites have outdoor jet pools, private wooden decks and glass windows to fully appreciate the surrounding nature. There are excellent onsite hiking and adventure and nearby offsite cultural excursions. Guests are assigned eco-concierges to maximise their stay at the hotel.

Rooms: Standard suites have a King bed and twin day beds, they also have outdoor jet pools and private wooden decks. Riverside Suites additionally have complimentary wifi and the private villas have two bedrooms and two bathrooms, living area and kitchen.

Dining: The Las Ventanas restaurant is at the heart of the hotel with stunning floor to ceiling glass windows, bar area and cosy open fire. There are also options to dine outside alongside the stream. The menu has a great and varied selection of dishes cooked with fresh produce from the onsite organic farm, free range chicken and trout ponds.

Onsite: Onsite is the Esencia Spa which has been thoughtfully designed and is an oasis of calm. There are a range of treatment rooms and a large yoga deck. Onsite activities include a hummingbird garden and cloud forest trails, guided birdwatching, waterfall hike, horse-riding and an adventure park with ziplining and rapelling through the canopy. Additionally oxcart design sessions, coffee experience and cooking with the chef and making tortillas with Dona Olga are also available activities.
